An underwater seascape from a 'bird's eye' view detailing a close-up of various hard & soft coral life.
I tried to get the impressions of small reef fish darting about the corals - but I think the fish need a bit more practice & refinement...oh well, it was a first try.
This painting was shown at the Robina Rotary 2007 show and was part of a group of paintings that won me an encouragement award - my first award ever!! I was running around the house & throwing the kids up in the air with joy & just generally going stupid for about an hour with excitement that my art had been critiqed as being worthy of some merit!
The painting is constructed of coloured dots approximately 1mm in diameter.
