This painting is a mosaic of the lasting impressions I have of diving on the corals reefs of Australia and the Pacific Islands. My strongest fascination was of the way the light was refracted through the tidal waters of the reef, which were in turn causing the soft corals to sway – appearing to be flowers blown by the wind. The movement of water on the reef linked everything together and instilled a sense of awe and peace in me.
