A Lavish new yacht, designed by Yacht Island Design, recreating the billionaire's playground of Monaco is set to become the world's most expensive.
The staggering 155m Streets of Monaco yacht is expected to cost over $1.1 billion to build and is modelled on a section of Monte Carlo.
Currently in the design stage, the super-ship will feature smaller versions of the state’s famous landmarks such as the Monte Carlo Casino and racetrack, as well as swimming pools, tennis courts, a cinema, a go kart track and a Hotel de Paris.
Instead of traditional decks the one-of-a-kind ship will have buildings, and instead of a swimming platform it will have a beach. Travellers will also spot waterfalls, a swim-in Jacuzzi-bar, helicopters and submarines on board.
The one-of a kind ship could be home to 16 guests and 70 crew with the main apartment spread over three floors and 445 sq m.

The Zero Dollar Show

In contrast to its location inside an internationally financed mall and entertainment complex - Melbourne Central - The Zero Dollar Show cost nothing.....zero.The field of art has a special relationship with the notion of theft. Famous art heists! Copyright infringement! And so to build upon this special relationship, 18 artists make up The Zero Dollar Show and each piece of art cost zero dollars to make. They found, they stole, and they exchanged favours for transport.

One Hour Photo

No, not the crappy Robin Williams movie.
One Hour Photo distills the photograph to the ultimate limited edition: 60 minutes. Photographic works will be projected for one hour each, after which they will never be seen again, by anyone, in any form. Each work will exist only in the limited moments of perception, in the individual and collective experience, then memory, of the observers.
One Hour Photo complicates the myth of photography as preservation, manifests the tension between the permanence of the medium and the impermanence of time, and subverts the profit model of the edition and the print.
Documentation of the experience will consist of signed release forms: each participating artist will pledge never to reproduce, display, or sell the piece they've include in the exhibition.
For obvious reasons there are no sneak previews of the pieces, so I'll leave you with an image of the venue where it is to be held.

Playstation 4 Concept Design

Tai Chiem has created this stunning PS4 console which features a glass touchscreen panel and a glossy black round compartment to place your disc. PS4 will give the gamer a unique cable-free gaming experience with its Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity. Personally, I am loving the transparent display of the main unit, which can show thumbnails of different parts of the disc; allowing the user to select a section by simply touching the respective thumbnails.

As we enter a new decade, Graffiti also enters into a new realm of 2.0 with digital graff not just being a novel way of getting up, but a serious mode of archiving and analysing typographic techniques and allowing writers the ability to make their work transcend from the streets to our screens. Here are some of the current methods of digital graffiti available as open source code to the public.....
"Today's new digital standard for tomorrow's vandals."
Dust Tag v1.0 is an iPhone App which enables artists to create, record and render 3D images of their creations all with finger taps. Dust Tag records the creation of a tag in motion, analyzes the end product and archives it in a free and open database where artists can share their work not just in traditional 2D pictorial format.
Laser Tag. In its simplest form the Laser Tag system is a camera and laptop setup, tracking a green laser point across the face of a building and generating graphics based on the laser's position which then get projected back onto the building with a high power projector.
G.R.L., Open Frameworks and graffiti legend Tempt1 have teamed-up to bring you the latest weapon of ocular assault: the EyeWriter. Source code, free software, HOW TO guide, videos and eye tags by Tempt1 available at eyewriter.org.
Graffiti Analysis is an extensive ongoing study in the motion of graffiti. Custom software designed for graffiti writers creates visualizations of the often unseen motion involved in the creation of a tag. Motion data is recorded, analyzed and archived in a free and open database, 000000book.com, where writers can share analytical representations of their hand styles.

CMYK Spraycan Design

The refillable Color Dial Spray is a novel design for a spray can that
contains four colour cartridges (CMYK) in the one can. The two Korean
designers, Kim Youngsuk Kim Woosik, have taken the spraycan game to
another level. Two dials(for hue and brightness) help the painter
achieve the exact color required. The user can immediately change the colour
by turning the colour dials near the top of the can.
The two dials allow for precise mixing of the particular colour desired.
The colour cartridges can be refilled many times over. This helps with
the reduction of waste.
