Joe Rush, born in London 1960, is a multi-media artist, showman and cult figure. As the original founder of the legendary travelling underground art and party collective Mutoid Waste Co., Joe is widely recognised as being one of the most innovative and influential underground artists in the world today. He constructs extraordinary animals, birds and beasts out of discarded or recovered machine components, automobile parts and other engineering detritus.
